okay, since im injured, and not able to do much, I decided that I shall tell you all a story that happend about 6 weeks ago?
Well my parents and I are driving downtown infront of a white pick-up. There is a man driving the truck who has two boxers in the back of the truck. (there is a law against this where i live). One was white, just like my dog, and the other was fawn. They're not just loose in the back of the truck, they have collars on that are attached to leashes, which are tied to the truck.
We are driving, and all of a sudden the white boxer jumps out of the back of the truck, but is just hanging there because of the collar/leash. The dogs legs keep hitting/wrapping around the tires, and im crying/freaking out thinking forsure im going to see this dogs head get ripped off, then run over.
My dad was beeping his horn and flashing his lights at the truck, and the man didnt stop. the man hadnt stopped for 4 whole blocks.
The man finally gets out of the truck to help his dog, my dad wasnt going to say anything, because sometimes accidents happen. we know that the man didnt intend to hurt his dog, and probably had driven 1000 times without it jumping out.
well that all went out the window when he simply puts the dog in the back of the truck again. didnt check its legs, nothing. Right back where it fell out of. My dad was not having this, so he yelled at the guy, and said "What kind of Fu**ing Idiot are you?" so the guy procedes to tell my dad to mind his own buisness or he will kick his ass. so my dad gets out of the car and proceeds to punch the guy in the face. This is downtown in the middle of an intersection. How embarassing.
He got back in the car, got the guys lisence plate, then called animal control.
I was proud of him, but embarassed at the same time. I dont think he should have hit the guy, but im glad he said something to him.
