Does anyone know anything about this? The horse seems quite sound to ride, canters on both legs, but the day after he is very sensitive where the back of the
saddle sits. He also seems to anticipate the pain and drops away when he is brushed. When I put any pressure on there is only one spot that is sore and he
flinches away but not as badly as when he anticipates it! He was diagnosed with bone spurs as a 2yo after winning two good races then training off. He went to
the equine hospital in Werribee (?) but its not operable.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with this- horse is now 6 and i want to know whether its something i can work with or not. He is a lovely lovely tb and if he isnt capable of doing a bit of hacking and dressage I'm hoping to find him a nice home trail riding- or maybe he could just be a pleasure horse for me
Whatever his future I'd like him to be comfortable, but struggling to find any info. He is having a bio-scan early August but I dont know whether I
can ride or lunge him before then?
