I know this post is older but since only a few pictures were added, I thought I would share a few pictures of my guys. Here are two Hispano-Arab ( Andalusian/Arabian ) foals ( full brothers ) sired by my stallion.

Photo above at just over two years old These are pictures that I took the morning we went out to see him ( after the two day drive just to get there ). Tigger is right at THREE months old in these photos. Guess I had a few more photos than I thought :-) Here are some pictures of his sire, Brilloso The picture above is his most "famous" photo, it has been used in several calendars and the cover of Farnams Hoof Formula... It was just kind of cool.. Hell, I'll admit it, I went out and purchased some ( not that I had any use at all for it ) it just sits in the feed room... like a sad little ode to o'l Bri. As I said, I fell head over hills in love with Tigger the moment I saw him. I had been talking with his owner for several weeks while I tried to get together the last bit of his purchase price. Then one Thursday morning she sends me an email and tells me that she has a couple set to fly in from California that Sat. to take a look at him. I freaked out.. I loaded up the truck and me and my mother made the two day drive down to see him. We finally arrived late Friday night/ eary Sat. morning. We woke up first thing and went out to see him. Because of the other couple, his owner ( who is now one of my best friends ) made me an offer - my pick of several foals out in the paddock.... it was no use, I had already picked the best foal out there, and he was coming home with me.

Vientos first ride since coming home.
I must say, the ONLY downside I can find to these horses is they are a little bit slow to mature, but SO worth the wait! Here is Viento's Sire

Oh WOW, Draven, he is just....absolutely breath taking. You sure found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, eh? He just oozes quality and is an excellent example of the breed; the movement, the presence, the conformation, the athletic ability, the nobility. I am totally jealous :P And HOLY moses, his sire is just drop dead gorgeous!!! You are very blessed to have such an amazing oppurtunity to be able to be around him every day =) Aiden is also really beautiful; I have always had a thing for those deep, chocolate coloured coats. She looks very "full-bodied" and compact, like she could carry a full grown man with ease. Such a kind expression as well! Windsong, Viento is just stunning!! If my mares foal (who was bred to Regalo this past May) is anything like him or Draven's handsome little devil, I will be THRILLED! In those photos, especially the first one, Viento looks almost identical to Mynika; the resemblence is almost uncanny. I am super excited for this foal and to see the outcome of the breeding.
Most Andalusian breeders and enthusiasts I have come into contact have all said that they take longer to mature than most other light breeds, which is fine with me. I don't even plan on putting a saddle on the foal until it is at least four years old. It is definitely worth the weight, anyways.

Since Georgian Grandes were mentioned way back, I thought I'd post a pic of mine. He's a belgian/saddlebred cross. I guess he fits the GG description by blood only, lol. I know "real" GG owners would be horrified. So the saddlebred/draft cross can go wrong . . . BTW, there's nothing any uglier than a 2 year old curly. Take my word for it. I can't imagine that Andy's are any worse . . .
