I recently moved up to a northern part of BC and the weather is much colder then I am use to. I was wondering if it is worth it to invest in a pair of winter riding boots, (preferably field boots) or to just get leather ones for schooling. I have a pair of Mountain Horse field boots, but I want to get a second pair for schooling either way.
It gets to well below freezing here on average. I have a pair of Bogs, but I feel like I can't use my leg effectively in them, or I just need to learn how to ride in them.
Just wondering if anyone has any brands they recommend/stay away from or if it is even worth it to get winter ones.
Thanks
